As the story unravels we find Lydia Deetz, a weird and unusual teenager obsessed with the whole being morbid thing. When she discovers that her house is possessed, by Beetlejuice, it is like she hit the jackpot. Eventually, after some parleying the two team up in the most sensational way to scare people with exorcism, an arranged marriage and gigantic sand worms.
