Bass Concert Hall Rules

As with any venue that features live performances, there are a few important rules and regulations you should keep in mind. These guidelines are in place to ensure a safe and secure experience for all guests. Let’s take a look at some of the key rules and regulations:

General rules

Bass Concert Hall has a series of basic regulations that you’ll find in any venue. For example, professional cameras and recording equipment are not permitted inside the venue unless you have media approval. Be sure to check this policy before bringing any recording devices. This is also true of outside food and beverages.

Age Restrictions

Some events at the venue may have age restrictions. This means that guests might need to present valid ID for entry. This is especially relevant for performances that are designated as 18+ or 21+. Always remember to check the details of an event before purchasing tickets to avoid any disappointment.

Cameras & Recording

Cameras may be permitted, subject to the event. If an artist does allow the use of cameras, guests may bring a non-professional (point-and-shoot) style camera with no removable lenses only.

Children & Tickets

A paid adult ticket also allows entry for one child under 5, provided the child sits on a lap in the reserved seats or on the lawn.

Code of Conduct

Bass Concert Hall requires guests to follow a code of conduct to maintain a secure and enjoyable environment. Any disruptive behavior, including unwanted noise, harassment or abusive behavior, can result in ejection from the venue. All guests are expected to respect fellow attendees, performers, and venue staff. This means that everyone can enjoy the show.

Restricted items

To ensure the safety and comfort of all guests, certain items are not allowed within Bass Concert Hall. Take a look at the following to ensure that you don’t have any issues entering the venue because of an item:

  • Outside food and drink
  • Illegal substances
  • Large bags and backpacks
  • Weapons of any kind
  • Laser pointers
  • Selfie sticks
  • Audio/video recording devices without prior approval

Smoking

Smoking is only permitted in designated smoking areas in each plaza and the back of the lawn on the gravel walkway, but not in the seating areas or on the lawn. This includes the use of electronic cigarettes.

Food & Drink

Outside food is strictly prohibited inside the venue, other than one non-alcoholic 24 oz. beverage per person in a plastic factory-sealed container. However, food and drink is available throughout the venue.
