In fact, he has successfully published six comedy efforts, and they’re all regarded as megahits among stand-up comedy enthusiasts. Before hitting it big in Hollywood, Cook did his due diligence in ensuring his improv and stand-up skills were honed. He has consistently made his rounds in the local comedy circuits. In 2005, Cook released his first HBO special, Vicious Circle, followed by a highly-awaited hosting at the Saturday Night Live in the same year. His exemplary work has earned him numerous accolades,s including being called Hot Comic of the Year by Rolling Stone.
