Composer Charlie Smalls and playwright William F. Brown's Afro-American retelling of L. Frank Baum's iconic 'The Wonderful Wizard Of Oz' is a magical, inclusive showstopper that connects to the much-adored disco and motown sounds of the 1970s. THE WIZ made its stage debut in 1974 in Baltimore, after which it moved to the Majestic Theatre on Broadway where it ran for four years of sold-out performances. THE WIZ brought down the house and shook up the critics, earning no less than seven Tony Awards, five Drama Desk Awards, and two Theatre World Awards.

Jerome (Broadway's MJ the Musical) as Tinman, and Kyla Jade (NBC's The Voice) as Aunt Em/Evillene.
